Without naming anyone, this one top writer(male) - who was the reason I subscribed to medium interacted with me often to sell his course but once I bought it there was no response to my queries. And also the course was so shitty I quit mid-way despite paying a bomb for it. That's when I realised people (writers especially) don't always follow the stuff they advise.
