This is exactly what I needed to read. With this mass production of articles on self-improvement and productivity, this article shares a fresh perspective. There are several takeaways here but what resonates the most with me is that self-improvement that doesn't address the underlying sense of unworthiness becomes a "noise" I think most productivity advice focusses on the habits and behaviours while missing the mindset that drives these habits in the first place. A change in mindset will not happen overnight through any self-improvement course. It takes time, self-experimentation and most importantly self-belief.
