I Got Scammed on Medium by Some Big Writers

Beware of the scams being run on Medium

As a writer, I was always on the lookout for ways to improve my skills and grow my audience. When I stumbled upon Medium, a popular blogging platform, I was excited to join the community and learn from other successful writers. However, my experience on the platform ended up being a costly lesson in the dangers of scams.

It started with a few courses offers that seemed too good to be true. These courses were being sold by other writers on the platform, who promised to teach me the secrets of their success. The courses were expensive, but I was desperate to grow my following and thought it was worth the investment.

As it turns out, these courses were nothing more than a well-crafted scam. Despite paying thousands of dollars, I saw no significant growth in my audience or income. The techniques and strategies taught in the courses were either basic or completely ineffective.

I also understand that my success isn’t guaranteed by enrolling in a course alone. But I have been through 4 different courses in the last few years and during this writing journey I have researched hundreds of students who enrolled
