I cannot agree more. Being a recent immigrant in Australia I am asked this question every time , yes EVERY single TIME. And I know exactly how the conversation would follow after that. It’s like they are judging you. Sad, but true. And yes you rightly we need to talk more about this behaviour to spread awareness on this subtle racism.
